Publication: Minority Accommodation through Territorial and Non-territorial Autonomy

The University of Oxford has published the volume Minority Accommodation through Territorial and Non-territorial Autonomy, edited by Tove H. Malloy (Director of the European Centre for Minority Issues) and Francesco Palermo (Director of the EURAC Institute for Studies on Federalism and Regionalism). The publication analyses the relationship between minorities, territory and autonomy and our understanding of non-territorial autonomy, conceived as an adaptation strategy to ethno-cultural diversity in modern societies and a public policy instrument for social cohesion.

The main aim of this publication is to provide a coherent debate on the application of territorial and non-territorial autonomy and to facilitate comprehension of the complexity of autonomy through a theoretical and practical discussion.
