World Forum on Local Economic Development in Turin (Italy)

Tuesday, 13/10/2015 to Friday, 16/10/2015

Next October in Turin (Italy) the third World Forum on Local Economic Development (LED) is to be held, organised jointly by the Municipality and Province of Turin, UCLG and the Andalusian Fund of Municipalities for International Solidarity (FAMSI), Regions United Organization (ORU FOGAR), the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

This event will bring together European and international figures to discuss regional competitiveness and innovation for more sustainable and inclusive development, location as a focus for job creation and measures to achieve sustainable urbanisation that links the rural and urban worlds. The Forum will also provide an opportunity to build alliances to improve coordination of the work on the post-2015 agenda.
